Magnetic Hump

Magnetic Hump is used for removing tramp Iron mixed with powder flowing down the vertical pipe. Magnet consists of two Super Power Rare Earth Magnetic Plates hinged on the zigzag path. The hinged magnetic plate can be opened and cleaned easily.

When the material falls it strikes directly on the first magnet plate. Major Iron contamination gets deposited here. The material then flows to the second magnet where escaped Iron particles are removed. This insures a clean Iron free material. Features

  • Magnetic Hump Design Options: Square, Round or Rectangular Inlet housed in SS 304 or SS 316 enclosures, can be designed based on the plant layout & flow rate of material within pipes. In special applications deep reach separators can be used to safeguard the downstream equipment.
  • Hump Magnets are provided either with Strontium Ferrite Magnetic Plates or NdFeB Rare Earth Magnetic Plates.
  • Gauss Power Options are available in 2000 | 5000 | 8000 | 10000 Gauss & must be selected based upon the type of iron that needs to be trapped.
  • Magnetic Plates fitted on the hump can be cleaned easily by opening the toggle clamps in case of manual clean arrangement.
  • Magnetic Humps can be provided as full humps or as half humps in special cases.
